A menina afirmou que encontrou os atestados na casa da irmã e do cunhado, que é médico, mas disse que os familiares não sabiam do uso indevido. O gestor da escola informou à Polícia Militar que a estudante entregou vários atestados em sequência. Na delegacia, segundo a PM, a adolescente confessou que falsificou os documentos. A irmã da adolescente, de 26 anos, responsável legal por ela, foi acionada e compareceu à unidade policial. Um aparelho celular e os documentos foram apreendidos.
